Honeymoon In Portugal Review

In the last blog we mentioned that we got married and it’s had very good interaction on Instagram with all the comments of congratulations thanks you for the kind words we appreciate it!

In this blog post we review Albufeira the area that we stayed in Portugal.

So on the 29th July we ventured off to our honeymoon which was the south of Portugal in-between Vilamoura which is a beautiful marina full of life day and night with loads of bars, shops and tonnes of boats and Alberfuria which had a old town and new town, with loads of shops, beautiful beach and traditional Portuguese buildings.

We landed in Faro airport from East Midlands with Jet 2 Package Holidays (not paid to say that :D) and had a transfer coach from Faro to the hotel which was called Adriana Beach Club Hotel Resort. Which was a fantastic complex, we we’re all inclusive and it had so much to offer, with loads of food choices picking from 3 Restaurants: Buffet, Grill and Portuguese style. Entertainment to keep you occupied with choices of activities.

The Beach

Just a little venture behind the hotel there was a private beach. When climbing down the stairs the beautiful golden sand and turquoise sea emerges. Where we took a stroll, along the beach to Villamoura. Not forgetting watching the sunset sitting on the beach.

There are a few nice trips you can do including boat trips to the caves and dolphins, safari’s across rough lands and not forgetting the one we went to which was Zoomarine where we saw dolphins, sea lions, seals and other animals, it was a fantastic day out and would recommend it.

If we weren’t doing all of the eating and exploring. You would find us chilled out next on a sun-lounger poolside with a drink or a snack.

To finish this post, we would definitely recommend Portugal to friends, family and fellow travellers. The hotel which was jam packed with so much to offer, not forgetting the gorgeous beach. We definitely will be returning to Portugal ourselves, it really captured our hearts.

So for now I hoped you enjoyed this post. Which should inspire you to go to Portugal for your next trip.

Mitch and Bex signing out

keep exploring, Bye for now!
